During the Conference Parliamentary Recess, CGP hosted a delegation of Conservative Members of Parliament for a visit to Washington D.C. James Gray MP, Jane Stevenson MP, Mark Jenkinson MP and Mark Logan MP.

The Coalition for Global Prosperity were delighted to partner with WaterAid, Save the Children and British Council on our latest Parliamentary Visit to Nepal. We were joined by Gagan Mohindra MP, Abena Oppong-Asare MP and Jackie Doyle-Price MP.

Shortly after International Women’s Day in March, I had a welcome opportunity to visit Sierra Leone in West Africa once again. I was one of a small cross-party group of MPs and we were guests of the Coalition for Global Prosperity and the International Rescue Committee (IRC).

During the February recess, the Coalition for Global Prosperity hosted a parliamentary visit to Washington, D.C. with a delegation of MPs in order to discuss and address the U.S. and the UK’s shared global foreign policy challenges and opportunities with key decision-makers across the Atlantic.

The Coalition for Global Prosperity hosted a cross-party delegation of Members of Parliament to visit Kenya in association with CAFOD.

The Coalition for Global Prosperity, in partnership with Water Aid, took a Parliamentary delegation of cross-party MPs to visit UK-backed development projects in Ghana.

The Coalition for Global Prosperity were pleased to be joined by Baroness Nosheena Mobarik, Heather Wheeler MP and Andrew Gwynne MP for our latest overseas visit to Jordan in partnership with Save the Children, The British Council and Talent Beyond Boundaries.

Over the Easter Parliamentary Recess, the Coalition for Global Prosperity took three cross-party Members of Parliament to Lebanon on our first overseas visit.

The Coalition for Global Prosperity partnered with the Halo Trust to virtually take a group of Members of Parliament to Northwestern Syria. The visit, led by former Scottish Conservatives Leader Ruth Davidson, looked at the work done by UK organisations such as Halo to bring stability and security to some of the world’s most vulnerable populations.

Towards the end of last year, I had the incredible opportunity of visiting Cameroon to see some of the amazing work that is being carried out by UK funded projects thanks to the Coalition for Global Prosperity and the International Rescue Committee.

On Thursday 10th December, the Coalition for Global Prosperity hosted a number of Conservative Members of Parliament for a virtual visit to Cameroon to see the impact of UK backed aid projects for themselves.
