Parliamentary Visit to Nepal

The Coalition for Global Prosperity were delighted to partner with WaterAid, Save the Children and British Council on our latest Parliamentary Visit to Nepal. We were joined by Gagan Mohindra MP, Abena Oppong-Asare MP and Jackie Doyle-Price MP.

The delegation visited projects around Kathmandu, the Nepal capital, where they were able to visit schools, WASH facilities under construction and also LGBTQI+ projects. The delegation were also able to meet with Government officials such as the Minister for Water as well as meet with the UK’s Ambassador to Nepal in order to discuss the UK’s role in region. The UK and Nepal are also marking 100 years of diplomatic relations which provided an excellent opportunity for the delegation to discuss the future of the relationship on their visit.

All of the projects visited were supported directly by the UK.
