Parliamentary Visit to Sierra Leone

The Coalition for Global Prosperity and the International Rescue Committee have taken a cross-party Parliamentary delegation to Sierra Leone to mark International Women’s Month. We were joined by Helen Grant MP, Alex Davies-Jones MP and Caroline Dinenage MP.

The delegation visited health facilities for women and a blood drive to help improve outcomes for women during childbirth. The MPs then met with the Minister for Education, the Sierra Leone Vice President and the UK’s High Commissioner to the country.
