Commonwealth Day 2023

Today marks Commonwealth Day - the first to be overseen by King Charles since he took to the throne last year.

This year’s theme for Commonwealth Day is ‘Forging a sustainable and peaceful common future’. In this period of significant turmoil on the world stage, this is a welcome and timely theme for 2023.

With a voluntary membership of 56 independent countries and a total population of over 2.5 billion people, the Commonwealth is an incredibly important force for good in the world.
