CGP Response to Publication of the Integrated Review

Following the publication of the Government's Integrated Review Refresh (IR23) Coalition for Global Prosperity Chief Executive Ryan Henson said:

“We welcome the Government’s acknowledgement of the role that soft power, alongside traditional defence spending, can have in keeping the UK safe and the increase in funding to the BBC World Service to counter disinformation from hostile states. The increase in defence spending to 2.5% is a welcome goal and one that will help the UK to continue to be a leader in global security. 

Defence, Development and Diplomacy are the key pillars of the UKs foreign policy and only by working together can we continue to be a force for good on the world stage.”
