Following the publication of the Government’s Integrated Review, Coalition for Global Prosperity CEO Ryan Henson said:

“I welcome this Integrated Review and its assertion that the UK will continue to play a leading international role in collective security, multilateral governance, tackling climate change and health risks, conflict resolution and poverty reduction. I also welcome the Prime Minister's firm assurance that the UK will remain a world leader in international development, and that we will return to our commitment to spend 0.7% of gross national income on development when the fiscal situation allows. 

It is right that in the years ahead our national security and international policy must do a better job of putting the interests and values of the British people at the heart of everything we do. British leadership in development is not just about doing what is right, it is also about our values, and making the world a better place for all of us.
