In partnership with Kenya, the UK hosted the 2021 Global Education Replenishment Summit in London. CGP’s Director of Advocacy was invited to the Summit which aimed to ensure that children around the world did not miss out on education which has been impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. The summit saw high profile figures and campaigners such as the UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, Global Education Partnership CEO Alice Albright, Former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Malala. The summit is seeking to raise $5billion to support education programmes around the world for the next 5 years.
