Labour and Conservative Parliamentary Roundtables with PPCs

As we approach a UK General Election, CGP were delighted to host Conservative and Labour parliamentary breakfast roundtables this week to discuss foreign policy and international development priorities with prospective parliamentary candidates.

Chaired respectively by The Rt Hon Stephen Crabb MP and Alex Davies-Jones MP, attendees explored the increasing overlap between domestic and foreign affairs, making international development a priority on the political agenda, effective aid spending, the Sustainable Development Goals, and how to talk to constituents about development on the doorstep.
