Development and Security Roundtable with Joy Morrissey MP

The Coalition for Global Prosperity were delighted to host a private Roundtable in Parliament to discuss the link between Development and Security.

The evening was chaired by Joy Morrissey MP and was joined by Baroness Hollins and Lord Bethell. The roundtable brought together key voices from military and think tanks to discuss how the UK’s national security benefits from a strong and united defence, development, trade and diplomatic policy.

The current situation in Ukraine featured heavily in discussions with a specific focus on how the UK and Europe is prepared for a pending humanitarian crisis.
