Shaara Rahim

Shaara is a Director in the Portfolio Development team at Yara, a global chemical company headquartered in Oslo, Norway.

Ms. Rahim started her career in London, working in investment banking for the boutique advisory arm of Brookfield Asset Management.

Subsequently, she worked in private equity with a focus on the real asset space (asset backed businesses, real estate, infrastructure) and impact.

She moved to Oslo in 2020 and since has been working with earlier stage businesses and scaleups. She currently sits on the Board of Varda AG and Agoro Carbon Alliance.

Ms. Rahim has a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and is fluent in English, Japanese and Malayalam.
