Tory Conference: Israel and Hamas: UK Diplomacy and Development in Action

Executive Room 1, ICC Birmingham, 8 Centenary Sq, Birmingham B1 2EA

In the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, Britain’s role as a force for good is crucial for resolution. Despite the conflict, the UK has upheld its aid commitment to Palestine, tripling its funding in 2023 from £30 million to £90 million. Britain has also created a £25 million support package for the maritime corridor to Gaza, ensuring safe passage for aid. This event will discuss how the UK can lead in advocating for a stable conclusion.
