Alex Bos
Alex Bos is Head of External Affairs at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). He leads strategic and corporate communications across the organisation and CIFF’s advocacy and policy efforts in the UK focused on international development. He is also responsible for coordinating political risk forecasting across the organisation and co-leads the coordination of CIFF’s approach to external partnerships. His experience spans development, management consultancy, international relations, and financial advisory. He previously worked at the Tony Blair Institute, where over a nine-year period he worked across various roles, including serving as a senior advisor in a global consultancy practice supporting governments in Africa and the Middle East, working with Tony Blair on the scoping and development of strategic partnerships, as well as being part of an advisory team assisting clients in both developed and emerging markets. He holds an MA in International Relations from the University of St Andrews and a MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
