Cross-Party Parliamentary Delegation to Washington D.C.
CGP were delighted to host a cross-party delegation of Members of Parliament this week in Washington D.C. to discuss the transatlantic relationship and the importance of US-UK collaboration in development, defence and diplomacy.
During the three-day visit, Kieran Mullan MP (Con), Stephen Kinnock MP (Lab), Sam Tarry (Lab) and Tan Dhesi (Lab) met with several senior politicians, including Robert Zoellick, former US Deputy Secretary of State, Senators Brian Schatz (D-HI) and Pete Ricketts (R-NE), and Congressmen Bob Latta (R-OH), Lloyd Smucker (R-PA), Robert Aderholt (R-AL), Jason Crow (D-CO), Nathaniel Moran (R-TX1), Gabe Amo (D-RI) and Tracey Mann (R-KS01).
The delegation also spoke with representatives from The Eleanor Crook Foundation, The State Department, Aspen Congressional Program, The Wilson Center, USAID, US Council for International Business, The World Bank and the Ukrainian Embassy.
