The Coalition was delighted to host a private roundtable with Minister for Investment Graham Stuart MP and business leaders today on to discuss how the UK private sector can drive prosperity overseas.

‘Global Britain: The Role of Trade & International Development Post-Brexit’, was co-hosted by the Coalition with the Department for International Trade (DIT) and took place at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The event was attended by leading voices from across government and the civil service, business and civil society organisations.

Conversation focused on the UK’s role as superpower in international development and how world-class British expertise can support global businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries to drive inclusive growth and lift the world’s poorest out of poverty.
